==Gameplay==
''Whirlwind'' is distinguished by three playfield rotating discs, and a fan topper that blows wind on the player at certain times in the game. The "goal" of ''Whirlwind'' is to get all of the "Super Cellar" awards such as lite quick multi ball or light the million shot. The Super Cellar is lit by ramp shots, but one can also lite it for a few seconds by going through the right-hand inlane. The regular multi ball is started by locking two balls and bring the third ball in the hole under the main ramp. The player lite the lock by hitting the "Storm Targets" that are currently lit, completing this will also start the spinning discs on the playfield and the fan. To lock balls, players must shoot the main ramp. One has to light the lock again after each locked ball. After the first regular multi ball, multi ball start is located one at the left-hand ramp. The multiball jackpot is the 2nd ramp.
